Derek Palmquist

Derek Palmquist has extensive experience in public safety and technical support, serving as a Deputy Sheriff for Linn County Sheriff Office since October 2016. Prior to this, Derek contributed as a Volunteer Firefighter with Palo Fire Department from June 2015 to December 2017. Derek's technical background includes roles as a Resident Technician at Altorfer Inc. and various positions at AGCO Corporation, including Technical Support Specialist and Test and Adjust/Floor Support, from 2008 to 2016. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Automotive Tech Intern at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. in 2008. Derek holds Automotive Certificates in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician from Minnesota West Community and Technical College, completed between 2007 and 2009.
