Zachary Williams

Zachary Williams has extensive experience in the drilling industry, with a career spanning nearly two decades. Currently serving as a Drilling Consultant at Marathon Oil Corporation since February 2019, Zachary also holds a concurrent position as a Drilling Consultant at LINN Energy, LLC since September 2015. Prior roles include Independent Consultant at EnerVest, Ltd., specializing in drilling Granite Wash Wells, and advancing through various consulting roles at LINN Energy, where notable achievements included drilling Granite Wash Wells and Wolfcamp/Sprayberry Long Lateral wells, followed by promotion to Lead Consultant within six months. Earlier experience includes a position as a Directional Driller at Baker Hughes and various roles at Nomac Drilling Corp, starting from Lead Floor Hand to Pusher. Zachary’s drilling journey commenced with summer positions at Unit Drilling Co. and Bronco Drilling Co. while pursuing academic studies in Kinesiology at Pratt Community College.
