Nick Makris

Nick Makris has over 19 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2001, they began their career as a Performance Test Engineer at PowerTest. In 2002, they moved to Verizon as an Application Test Engineer. In 2005, they became an Engagement Manager at Sprint/Nextel and Sprint. In 2008, they joined the US Department of Homeland Security as a Performance Test Engineer. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Performance and Automation Test Engineer at U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Since 2016, they have been an Automation Test Engineer and Director of Delivery Services at Lion Federal, where they developed a functional test automation framework utilizing Watir-Webdriver and Selenium. Nick currently manages and oversees multiple Federal Government contracts for Lion Federal.
