Emily Machado is an experienced professional in the fashion industry with a focus on product innovation and technical design. Currently serving as a Product Innovation Developer at LION since February 2022, Emily creates and maintains technical specifications while managing communication with factories across multiple regions. Prior to this role, Emily held positions at Elbeco as a Technical Designer and Technical Design Manager, and at Urban Outfitters as a Senior Sweater Designer, overseeing the design and development of sweater collections. Earlier experience includes roles at Opening Ceremony as a Sweater/Knitwear Designer, and as a freelance patternmaker. Emily's education includes an AAS in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an A.S. in Fashion Design from San Diego Mesa College, along with an A.S. in Theatre Arts from Diablo Valley College.
