Ike Okemiri, MBA, GISC has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering and architecture. Ike started their career in 2009 as a Civil Engineer Craftsman in the United States Air Force, where they directed and performed architectural design, drafting, surveying, and contract surveillance for government construction and maintenance programs. Ike then became a Civil Engineer Technician, also in the Air Force, where they inspected projects, prepared drawings for major construction and contractual projects, and ensured they met user requirements.

In 2013, Ike joined GSA as an Architect intern. Here, they constructed and modified architectural sketches and building models to present designs for review and construction approval. Ike also performed analysis on upgrade and construction projects for Federal Government buildings and drafted design quality standards to standardize building and construction processes.

In 2015, Ike joined Lionakis as a Project Designer, where they worked on designing and managing projects.

Currently, Ike is back in the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer Officer. Ike is the Readiness & Emergency Management Flight Commander, responsible for ensuring ATSO/CBRN readiness for the Wing. Ike provides management and command advisory guidance, manages and executes the Installation Emergency Program, and implements Department of Defense, Air Force, and National consensus standards.

Ike Okemiri, MBA, GISC began their education journey in 1999 at the Federal University of Technology Minna, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2011 and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Ike successfully completed the program in 2014. In 2013, Ike also attended Cosumnes River College, where they obtained a Professional Certification in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with a major in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. Ike'stime at Cosumnes River College lasted until 2015.
