Robert Lord

Robert Lord, MD, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Data and Digital New Ventures at Vizient, Inc., beginning in August 2024. As a Partner at LionBird since January 2020, Robert collaborates with founders to support the development of digital health technologies. In addition, Robert co-founded Protenus, where responsibilities include serving as Chairman of the Board and President, focusing on enhancing administrative, security, and compliance capabilities for healthcare facilities. Robert holds directorships at several organizations, including Chiefy, Phrase Health, and Phantom Neuro, while contributing to initiatives in healthcare cybersecurity at New America. Robert completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Medicine and has an extensive educational background, including a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a degree from Harvard University.
