Melanie Maemura

Melanie Maemura has extensive experience in accounting within the media and entertainment industry. Currently serving as a TV Accountant at A24 since April 2021, Melanie previously worked at Hello Sunshine Official as a Production Accountant, handling production accounting and corporate finance for original productions from June 2020 to April 2021. Prior experience includes providing production accounting services for various studio and on-location film and TV projects with Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, and Showtime from January 2019 to June 2020. Melanie also worked as a Senior at EY from July 2016 to October 2018, serving corporate clients across multiple sectors, including media and entertainment. Melanie holds a Master’s Degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and a Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of California, Davis, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the same institution.
