Andrew Vavra

Andrew Vavra is currently the Director of Real Estate Development Services at Lionstone Investments. Prior to joining Lionstone, they worked as a Real Estate Transaction Advisory at EY from April 2015 to March 2016. In this role, they provided valuation, due diligence and transaction strategy & operations advisory to a wide range of clients, including real estate developers and managers, investment funds, and Fortune 500 companies. Andrew gained experience working on a wide variety of real estate types, such as retail, office, multifamily, student housing, senior living, warehouses and distribution centers, manufacturing and laboratory facilities, vacant land, timber land, solar and wind farms, and mineral leases.

Before joining EY, Andrew worked as an Associate at Alvarez & Marsal from August 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they worked with clients in the distressed real estate and hospitality industries on a variety of projects, including hotel and resort asset management, workout and turnaround consulting, and receivership services.

In addition to their professional experience, Andrew has also held internships at Procter & Gamble and Total Petrochemicals. Andrew has also taught English conversation courses at the University of St. Gallen.

Their manager is John Schaefer, MD & Head, Land & Development.
