Carl Wellinger

Carl Wellinger is the current Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions at Lionstone Investments. Prior to joining Lionstone, Carl was the Director - Head of Asset Management & Strategic Investments at Karney Properties Co. from January 2017 to July 2018 where they managed all aspects of a 6 million square foot portfolio of development, value add, and core properties across multiple markets and product types.

Before Karney Properties Co., Carl was with CommonWealth Partners as Vice President from January 2009 to December 2016 where they oversaw acquisitions in Boston, New York and Washington DC, while actively managing a portfolio of value add/opportunistic office and mixed used investments throughout the United States. Carl's market experience includes Southern California, Boston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Austin, Minneapolis, and Salt Lake City.

In April 2007, Carl started their career as an Associate at IDS Real Estate Group and remained there until December 2008.

Carl Wellinger received their MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and their Economics degree from the University of Michigan.
