Paul Georgelos

Paul Georgelos has extensive experience in the packaging industry, specifically in research and development, quality control, and technical services. Paul is currently serving as the Vice President of R&D - Bags/Films at Liquibox. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President - Quality & Technical Services at DS Smith, Plastics Division from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they worked at DS Smith - Rapak as the Vice President - Technical Services from 2014 to 2018. Paul was also the R&D Director at Clear Lam Packaging from 2006 to 2014, where they played a key role in product development and resolving quality issues. Paul started their career as a Research Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory in 1987. Paul has extensive experience and expertise in the packaging industry, particularly in the areas of research, development, and quality control.

Paul Georgelos earned a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, completing their studies between 1982 and 1987.
