Socrates Hlapolosa has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on leadership roles. Socrates is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Liquid Thought, where they collaborate with the CEO to drive business growth and manages the engineering team. Prior to this, Socrates was also the Chief Technology Officer at Home+, where they excelled in innovation and disruption using technology. Socrates has also worked at Nedbank as the Digital Lead, overseeing various strategic programs related to digital transformation. Additionally, Socrates has worked at McKinsey & Company, Khabane Majestic Consulting, Psybergate (Pty) Ltd, ThoughtWorks, Epiuse, FNB Forex, and Dariel, where they held roles ranging from Digital Specialist to Lead Developer to Senior Consultant.

Socrates Hlapolosa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand between 2000 and 2005. In 2018, they also obtained a certification in TOGAF 9.1 Enterprise Architect from The Open Group.
