Rajesh Mallavajula

Rajesh Mallavajula's work experience starts with their role as an intern at ETH Zurich in 2006. Rajesh then worked as an analyst at Grail Insights from July 2007 to July 2008, where they provided research services and strategic business intelligence to clients. Rajesh pursued their Chemical Engineering PhD at Cornell University from August 2008 to April 2014, focusing on the rheological behavior of suspensions and nanocomposites. During this time, they also served as a Teaching Assistant for a fluid mechanics course. Starting in May 2014, Rajesh joined LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc. as an Associate R&D Engineer, managing labs and supporting product development. Rajesh was subsequently promoted to Senior R&D Engineer in January 2017. Currently, Rajesh holds the position of Chief R&D Engineer at LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc., leading research across multiple labs and managing a team of researchers while collaborating with other departments to improve product performance and introduce new products.

Rajesh Mallavajula earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, studying from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Rajesh has obtained various certifications in areas like data analysis, root cause analysis, leadership, petroleum refining, pipeline operations, and radiation safety.
