Gunter Wessels, Ph.D., M.B.A. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Gunter currently serves as the Founder & Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at LiquidSMARTS™, where they are responsible for top-line revenue generation, talent acquisition, strategic partner development, and general services administration.

In addition to their role at LiquidSMARTS™, Gunter Wessels also holds positions at various other companies. Gunter is a Venture Partner in Digital Health & Technology Enabled Services at Health Innovation Capital and a Global Chief Revenue Officer at syd™, where they focus on developing go-to-market strategies, recruiting Fortune 500 market-developing pilots, and supporting product teams in customer engagement.

Furthermore, Gunter Wessels has held the position of CRO in Residence at SimulConsult, INC., and served as the Commercial Operations Head - in Residence at EtherMed AI and Commercialization Head in Residence at Vastmindz. Prior to these roles, they were a Senior Partner and Global Healthcare Practice Principal at Total Innovation Group, Inc. (TIGI), and a Principal at GFW Limited, where they provided consultancy services to clients for selling capital equipment and medical supplies within the healthcare industry.

Before their work at GFW Limited, Gunter Wessels gained experience as a Sr. Molecular Accounts Manager and Sr. Account Manager at Roche Diagnostics, as well as an Independent Contractor at Advantage Medical.

With their extensive background and expertise, Gunter Wessels has managed and contributed to various aspects of revenue generation, strategy development, talent acquisition, and customer engagement within the healthcare and technology sectors.

Gunter Wessels, Ph.D., M.B.A., obtained their Ph.D. in Management from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management. Prior to this, they completed their MBA in Marketing Management at the University of California, Riverside - A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. Gunter began their educational journey at the University of California, Riverside, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology.
