Mahendra Duwal has a diverse work experience. From 2017 to present, they have been a Software Engineer at Lirio. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee. In this role, they graded papers and tutored undergraduate students in 'Algorithm Analysis and Automata' and 'Software Engineering' classes as TA. As RA, they worked with Dr. Sergey Gavrilets in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and wrote optimized simulation programs in C/C++, shell scripts to execute in Linux cluster, and codes to visualize data with graphs using C and Gnuplot. Mahendra Duwal received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pulchowk Engineering Campus between 2006 and 2011. Mahendra then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 2014 and 2017.
