Kenneth Washburn

Head Girls Basketball Coach at Lisbon Central School

Kenneth Washburn has extensive work experience in law enforcement and coaching roles. Kenneth served as an Admin/ Training Sergeant and a retired Connecticut State Police at the Mashantucket Police Department from 2013. In 2004, they became the Varsity Football Coach at Norwich Free Academy. Furthermore, they worked as a TFC/ Academy Instructor and a Resident Trooper at the Connecticut State Police from 1987 until 2012. Additionally, they held the role of Head Girls Basketball Coach at Lisbon Central School starting in 2018.

Kenneth Washburn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice from Roger Williams University, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications from the Bureau of Indian Affairs (B.I.A.) in February 2013 and from the CT P.O.S.T.C. as a POST Certified Instructor in DUI, Patrol Rifle, Serious Mental Illness, Domestic Violence, and D.V. LAP.
