Shahira Yahia

2024 Fellow - Middle East And North Africa at Cartier Women's Initiative

Shahira Yahia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in agriculture, biotechnology, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a 2024 Fellow for the Cartier Women's Initiative in the Middle East and North Africa, Shahira co-founded Chitosan Egypt, the first industrial-scale waste-to-resource Chitosan facility in MENA, where Shahira holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer. Shahira's past roles include data analysis for Chemonics Egypt Consultants and involvement in the Agri-Inno Fellowship at Cambridge Judge Business School. Shahira's educational background includes degrees in Industrial and Product Design and Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture, complemented by participation in various programs aimed at fostering innovation within the agricultural sector.
