Giselle Álvarez Ferreyra is an accomplished language education professional with extensive experience in managing educational programs and language instruction. As the Founder and Director of IFLI Foreign Language Immersion since February 2021, Giselle has created an online platform for learning Portuguese and English. Currently serving as Education Program Manager at Lisbon Project, Giselle focuses on empowering migrants and refugees through organized educational activities and partnerships. Previous roles include First Line Manager at Teleperformance, where responsibilities included managing customer service representatives and improving service quality for various markets. Giselle has also held positions as Cambridge Speaking Examiner and Director of Studies at various language institutes, showcasing a strong commitment to teacher development and quality education. With a Master's degree in Teacher Training and a Bachelor's degree in Education, Giselle brings expertise and leadership to the field of language education.

Lisbon Project
The Lisbon Project is a non-profit organisation that exists to integrate and protect the lives of migrants and refugees in the city of Lisbon. At the Lisbon Project, we believe our wellbeing is interdependent, and so for Lisbon to thrive, we need to work together to ensure each individual thrives. Individuals thrive when integrated into the community. Due to barriers related to employment, housing, health care, language, unfamiliarity with local laws and values, and locally born residents’ unfamiliarity with the migrant and refugee experience, migrants and refugees can find it particularly challenging to integrate. We aim to support their integration and address these barriers by mobilizing individuals (both locally and internationally born) and organizations to provide empowering programs related to employment, education, legal aid, health care, housing, and culture. We believe if we work together, we can create a community where everyone is welcomed, respected, and included economically and socially. “In a real sense all life is inter-related.
