Jürgen Utz

Jürgen Utz has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability and building consulting. Jürgen is currently working as the Head of Sustainability at LIST Gruppe since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Academy Director at DGNB German Sustainable Building Council from October 2015 to February 2022. Before that, they were the Geschäftsführer (Founder and Managing Partner) at h&u consult from October 2012 to December 2015. their career started as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Research Assistant) at the University of Stuttgart, where they worked from 2008 to 2012.

Jürgen Utz obtained their Vordiplom in Biology, specializing in general biology, from the University of Konstanz between 2000 and 2002. Jürgen then pursued their education at the University of Stuttgart from 2002 to 2008, where they received a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Architecture.

In addition to their formal education, Jürgen Utz has obtained a certification as a DGNB Auditor from the DGNB German Sustainable Building Council in October 2022.
