Matt Headford

Matt Headford has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Matt currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Lit Fibre, a new infrastructure company focused on building a high-speed fiber optic network in small towns and communities in the UK. Prior to this, they were the Director at Cleverton Consulting from 2019 to 2020.

From 2014 to 2018, Headford worked at Coeus Consulting Limited as the Head of Technology and Architecture. In this role, they developed the Technology and Architecture practice and provided advisory services to global customers, helping them define new ways of working and achieve their digital agendas.

Before joining Coeus Consulting, they served as the CTO of Atos Worldline UK&I at Worldline by Atos, where they were responsible for developing the company's technology strategy, building architecture and engineering teams, and managing the technical delivery of multiple software products.

Headford also held the position of Technical Director - Choose and Book at Atos, where they were responsible for delivering and managing a major NHS contract. Additionally, they worked as a Solution Architect at British American Tobacco, focusing on IT strategy and data center design.

Earlier in their career, they worked at NHS Connecting for Health as an Infrastructure Architect and at BT Global Services as a Senior Solution Architect, where they played key roles in projects related to data analytics, system monitoring, virtual test environments, and network infrastructure design.

Overall, Headford has a strong background in technology leadership, strategy development, architecture design, and delivery management.

Matt Headford earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
