Ola Oyewusi

Ola Oyewusi has extensive experience in the field of network engineering and architecture. Ola is currently serving as the Head Network Engineering at Lit Fibre since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GTT as a Network Architect from June 2018 to February 2021. Ola also held the position of Network Architect at Interoute from September 2015 to June 2018 and at Easynet Group (MDNX) from December 2013 to September 2015. Ola's earlier roles include Network Architect at MDNX from October 2010 to December 2013 and Team Leader at Viatel from September 2007 to October 2010. Ola also worked as a Senior IP/MPLS Engineer at Viatel from July 2004 to August 2007. Ola gained experience as a Network Design Engineer at Tiscali/Video Networks (Home Choice) from April 2004 to July 2004 and as a Senior IP Network Engineer at Band-X Ltd from March 2001 to March 2004.

Ola Oyewusi has a diverse education history. In 1979, Ola attended Government College Ibadan but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during the five-year period. Later on, from 1987 to 1992, Ola pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ibadan. Ola furthered their education in 1998 and 1999 by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University London. In addition to their formal education, Ola has acquired several certifications from Juniper Networks. These certifications include Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP-SP) obtained in October 2012, Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS-SP) obtained in August 2006, and Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) obtained in November 2005.
