Michael Bailey

Michael is a systems and software engineer with an incredibly diverse technical background. His skills include system level integration, board level integration, software system architecture, and software development. He has developed algorithms for image processing, precision IMU calibration, 3D graphics, radar based geo-location, digital signal demodulation, and calibration of north finding sensors, for which he was issued a patent. Michael has done system design and software architecture for a large variety of systems, including Hardware in the Loop Simulation, embedded data recorders, telescope pointing controllers, and servo motor controllers. Michael is also a software engineer comfortable working on realtime software and firmware on 20-processor SMP machines to multicore digital signal processors. Michael will be leading the firmware and embedded systems development for the C-1, bringing real world system design, system integration, software design and implementation.
