Patrik Hollós

Patrik Hollos is the founder of Litegrav, a company established in January 2021 that develops innovative hardware and software solutions aimed at accelerating bioscience research for both terrestrial and extraterrestrial applications. Patrik has served as an Innovation Advisor at Aalto University from January 2022 to December 2023 and was a Business Developer at Åbo Akademi from September 2019 to February 2021, notably preparing the PARKS project for commercialization and developing business plans and models. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Turku Bioscience from April 2019 to February 2021, Patrik focused on kinase function in synaptic plasticity and the molecular mechanisms of depression and anxiety. Additionally, Patrik coordinated the r’BIRTH consortium under the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions from September 2013 to September 2017, studying neurodegenerative processes and their impact on the human brain. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master's in Biomedical Imaging from Åbo Akademi University, alongside a Bachelor's in Biology and a technical degree in Computer Engineering Technology.
