Tariq Alshugran

Tariq Alshugran has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Tariq began as a Software Developer at Century Electronics in 2004 before moving on to KPMG as a Senior SharePoint Consultant in 2008. At KPMG, they designed and implemented enterprise solutions using various programming languages and performed system analysis and database design. In 2010, they joined Connolly, Inc. as a Software Developer, where they implemented SharePoint solutions and customized business functions using C# and other technologies. Tariq then transitioned to Prosperoware in 2011, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually becoming an Engineering Manager responsible for leading a software team and overseeing application development. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Litera as a Director of Software Engineering and later took on the role of Senior Director of Software Engineering.

Tariq Alshugran holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of Bridgeport, which they completed in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn between 2005 and 2007. Tariq also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, which they completed between 2000 and 2004. Tariq has additional certification as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist from Microsoft.
