Claire Hagen Alvarado, Ed.L.D. is currently the Director of Literacy First at Literacy First. Previously, Claire held roles such as Chief of Program and Strategy at designEDengagement, PBC, and Statewide Early Childhood Fellow at Texas Education Agency. Claire has a strong educational background, with a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Harvard University, a Master's in Language and Literacy Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's in History and Spanish Literature from The University of Kansas.
