Andrew Peterson

Andrew Peterson is a Career Readiness Coordinator with AchieveMpls at Edison High School in Northeast Minneapolis, where he works with all students to discover their career aspirations and helps them explore and plan for life after high school. Prior to his time at Edison, Andrew worked with STEP-UP Achieve, where he collaborated closely with the business and education communities to develop paid, professional internship opportunities for students aged 16-21. Andrew also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2012-2013 with AchieveMpls, and led the 40-member InterCorps Council of Minnesota. In addition to his work with AchieveMpls, Andrew is a passionate soccer coach, spoon ring maker, and reader. He aspires to one day have a book collection that rivals his grandmother's, which once numbered over 30,000 titles.
