Andy Francis

Learning Center Coordinator at Literacy Minnesota

Andy (he/him) is the learning center coordinator at Open Door Arlington Hills. He first joined Literacy Minnesota in 2019 as the Access Coordinator VISTA; an AmeriCorps project focused on increasing accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities throughout ABE. Andy earned a BA in Religious Studies from Lawrence University and is pursuing an MA- TESOL at Hamline University. After college, Andy taught English for Specific Purposes to Tibetan monks in India, and he continues to teach online in his free time. His students' curiosity, compassion, and dedication have inspired him to pursue a life of teaching and community engagement.
