Emily Rifkin currently serves as the Associate Manager of Development at Literacy Partners. Prior to this role, Emily taught ACT courses and conducted one-on-one tutoring at The Princeton Review. Additionally, Emily has experience as an English Teaching Language Assistant, Educational Assistant, Development Intern, and Employer Engagement Assistant in various organizations. Emily also has experience as a High School Coach at College Possible. Emily's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College.

With our free classes, low-income parents in New York City develop the literacy and language skills they need to succeed in today’s world. Our research-based curriculum also incorporates child development and parenting support to help parents boost their children’s early reading, school readiness, and social-emotional growth.
