Americorps Family Literacy Instructor at Literacy Pittsburgh

Cheyenne Hennen currently serves as an Americorps Family Literacy Instructor at Literacy Pittsburgh and as a Youth Leadership Training Coordinator at the Parent Education & Advocacy Leadership (PEAL) Center, both positions initiated in September 2023. Additionally, Cheyenne holds the role of Americorps Member with Compass AmeriCorps since January 2023. Previous experience includes serving as an Americorps Refugee Caseworker with Jewish Family and Community Services of Pittsburgh and as a Spina Bifida Peer Mentor at Human Engineering Research Laboratories. Cheyenne has also worked as a Public Relations Manager for the Access Club at Penn State and as a Secretary for both the International Student Council ISC and UNICEF @ Penn State. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Penn State University, completed in December 2022.
