Literacy Pittsburgh
Sister Patrice Hughes is an experienced consultant and educator with a focus on Catholic education and language instruction. Since May 2016, Sister Patrice has served as a Consultant for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, contributing to the planning and development of Catholic schools in the North Hills and North Side areas. In addition, Sister Patrice has been an ESL Instructor for the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council since September 2010, where responsibilities include teaching English to legal immigrants and training college student volunteers. Prior experience includes a role as a Development Consultant for St. Thomas A Becket Church from January 2009 to September 2012, where advisory services were provided to the Capital Campaign Committee, alongside research into Catholic funding sources. Sister Patrice holds a Master's Degree in French from Middlebury College and a Bachelor's Degree in French Language and Literature from Seton Hill University.
