Ilana Uziel

Ilana Uziel is an experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) educator with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Noncredit Associate ESL Instructor at MiraCosta College and an English Second Language Specialist at Escondido Public Library since January 2023 and July 2022 respectively, Uziel has also taught at various institutions, including internships and roles as an ESL Instructor at companies such as Internexus San Diego, LSI Language Studies International, and Southern States University. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in TESOL from Alliant International University and a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Ilana's expertise encompasses teaching various aspects of English language learning, and designing tailored materials for diverse student needs, age levels, and proficiency.
