Vincent Cheng

Vincent Cheng is a seasoned Materials Scientist with extensive experience in the electronics industry, currently employed at Littelfuse since October 2013, specializing in ESD protection devices, high-temperature varistors, and NTC chip technology, while leading the New Material Development Group. Prior to this, Vincent worked at Applied Materials as a Technologist, contributing to advanced solar cell technology that achieved world record efficiency. Vincent's early career includes a tenure as a Talented Associate Research Fellow at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where significant research funding was awarded, and as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, leading projects on thermoelectric materials. Vincent holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University and Xi'an Technological University, respectively. Vincent is also credited with two Chinese patents.
