Eric Kubacki

Eric Kubacki has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Eric currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Littera Education since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Cengage from 2014 to 2021, holding various roles including Sr. Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager. In these positions, they led global teams and successfully executed multiple core objectives, including converting a legacy home-built authentication protocol to an industry-leading IAM provider. Eric also established reliable software release and certification processes and led the Cloud Innovation team. Before joining Cengage, Eric worked at Pillar Technology as a Software Developer from 2012 to 2014, providing technical expertise in testing strategies and test-driven development and facilitating innovation tournaments. Eric also worked at Carhartt as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst from 2011 to 2012 and at Union Pacific Railroad as a Sr. Application Developer from 2008 to 2011.

Eric Kubacki attended Michigan State University from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Eric focused their studies in the field of Computer Engineering during this time.
