James Lal

Founder at Little Bear Labs

James Lal is the founder of Little Bear Labs and has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. James started their career as a software engineer with Natural Living Products where they worked for six years before becoming the Acting President for a year. In 2009, they founded Lights of Apollo LLC, a software consulting business, where they worked with clients such as wineries, media agencies, and startups. In 2011, they joined Yahoo as a senior software engineer and led the front end team that shipped a new product in less than four months. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Mozilla as the TaskCluster Tech Lead and Engineer Manager, responsible for building the next generation Firefox CI/CD platform. In 2015, they joined Silk Labs as an advisor and provided advice on cloud and webrtc technologies.
