Kate Evans

Kate Evans is an accomplished author currently signing a three-book deal for the Donna Morris mysteries with Little, Brown and Company, publishing titles 'A Wake of Crows' and 'Drowning Not Waving' in 2021 and 2022. Prior to this, Kate accumulated extensive experience as a freelance writer from 1999 to 2020, producing non-fiction, fiction, and poetry, while also training in counseling and engaging in creative writing within therapeutic environments. Kate served as a tutor and coordinator for the University of Hull's BA in Creative Writing from 2004 to 2017, and volunteered with the International Movement ATD Fourth World between 1993 and 1999, focusing on empowering individuals in extreme poverty. Kate holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing, the Arts & Education from the University of Sussex.
