Shannon Kao

Shannon Kao is a software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative technology solutions. Currently at Little Green Light, Shannon builds donor management software for nonprofits. Previously at JustFix, Shannon co-created tenant rights tools with nonprofit partners. Shannon's career at Microsoft spanned multiple roles from Software Engineering Intern to Senior Software Engineer, focusing on educational platforms and enhancing user interfaces for Bing. Shannon has also contributed to projects at notable organizations such as Stanford University, Flux Factory, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and MIT Media Lab. Shannon holds a Master of Science in Computer Graphics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
