Taylor Keeney is an accomplished communication and public affairs professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As the Founder and Executive Director of Little Hands Virginia since May 2019, Taylor has transformed a grassroots initiative into a robust nonprofit serving over 3,000 children annually through numerous community partnerships. Previous positions include President at Piedmont Strategies, where diverse clients benefited from comprehensive public relations and advocacy services, and Director of Strategic Communications & Advocacy at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, where strategic communications were developed for Fortune 100 companies and nonprofits. Taylor also led regional communications for Teach For America, served as Press Secretary for the Office of Governor Bob McDonnell, and held various press roles during key political campaigns. Taylor Keeney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from Southern Methodist University.

Little Hands Virginia provides essentials to babies (0-3 years old) and families in need in the Greater Richmond region. Through donations, fundraising, and crowd sourcing for new and “like new” baby items, we work with our partner organizations (local agencies, hospitals, homeless shelters, and other nonprofits) to provide the items needed for the people they serve.
