Kathryn Larkins is an experienced professional in the mental health and community service sectors, currently serving as Office Manager and Program Coordinator at Little Lights Urban Ministries since January 2017. Previously, Kathryn held roles as Community Mental Health Staff at Community Residences, where advocacy for individuals with mental health diagnoses was a key focus, and as a Masters Level Counseling Intern at Fellowship House. Kathryn holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Covenant College.

Little Lights is a non-profit Christian urban ministry organization dedicated to showing the love of Jesus Christ to the inner city community of Southeast Washington, DC, particularly the children. We envision a place where underserved children and youth in Washington, DC find compassion, empowerment, and resources to thrive and grow into young adults of character, emotional health, creativity, and responsibility. We envision a place of racial and class reconciliation where diverse people come together to strengthen the community and support families in need. We envision a place of learning, laughter, grace, and celebration where the potential of children and youth are realized where caring adults find community and purpose.
