Nikhil Nadkarni has been working in the medical field since 2009. Nikhil began their career as the Founder & President of UCSD Project RISHI in 2009. In 2016, they moved to UCLA Health, where they held the roles of Chief Fellow of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and Psychiatry Resident. In 2019, they joined healthPiper as the Clinical Team Lead, managing a team of four Psychiatrists and providing psychiatric care to over 150 patients. Since 2022, they have been working at Little Otter as the Medical Director of Quality Assurance & Director of Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.
Nikhil Nadkarni's education history includes attending Lynbrook High School from 2003 to 2007, followed by a Bachelor's Degree from UC San Diego in Philosophy and General Biology from 2007 to 2012. Nikhil then completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA from 2012 to 2016. After that, they completed a Residency in Psychiatry, specializing in Adult Psychiatry, from 2016 to 2019, and is currently completing a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the same school until 2021.
