Joey Price II

Vice Chair at MEMS

Joey Price II is the Vice Chair at MEMS. Joey was previously the Co-Chair - Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta from May 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Technical Sales Engineer at Anton Paar Canada from May 2019 to May 2021. Joey started their career as an Industry Liaison / Business Development at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from January 2013 to February 2019.

Joey has been instrumental in setting up ~ $2 Million applied research centre in advanced materials within the proposed budget from federal government (WED). Joey has also led all business development activities in the centre and has established relations with provincial and federal innovation funding agencies to support industry stakeholders.

As a project lead, they have been responsible for all applied research projects in the centre and has also procured technical infrastructure in the centre. Joey has been the principle communication lead with other service providers on collaborated applied research projects.

Joey Price II has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta, an Executive Development Course from McGill University, and a Masters in Applied Science from Concordia University. Joey also has a Leadership Development Course from NAIT, a Certificate in Project Management from NAIT, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Joey also has a Diploma in Advance Computing from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and is certified by Sales Performance International.
