Previous roles include PR/Coordinator for Community and Parent Relations at Fort Worth Independent School District from 1993 to 1995, and Program Trainer at WW International from 1990 to 1995. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications/Journalism from Texas Christian University and a Certification in Volunteer Management from the AR Public Administration Consortium, obtained in 1997.
