Rebecca Burkman

Rebecca Burkman has extensive experience in environmental affairs and laboratory management, currently serving as the Director of Environmental Affairs at Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority since June 2017. Previous roles at the same organization include Interim Director of Operations, Interim Director of Environmental Affairs, Laboratory Administrator, and Laboratory Technician. Prior to this, Rebecca worked as a Senior Laboratory Analyst for The City of Rocky Mount from October 2014 to June 2017 and as a Laboratory Assistant at the Ecotoxicology Research Facility from August 2010 to May 2013. Rebecca holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, completed in 2019, a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the same institution, completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Arkansas State University, earned in 2014.
