Charles Newcomb, GPHR has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and talent management. Charles has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in strategic workforce management, talent planning, and position management. Charles has worked at Littler as a Senior Director of Talent Programs and previously as a Director of Talent Management Programs. At TIAA, they served as the Lead for Strategic Workforce Management, where they designed and built data-driven workforce models and forecasts to support decision-making on talent planning and hiring. During their time at Nuveen, Charles held multiple positions, including HR Business Partner, HR Reporting, and Analytics, and HR Business Partner & Chief of Staff. Charles effectively executed thought leadership and strategic initiatives, led HR data reporting and analytics, and managed human capital responsibilities for various departments. Prior to that, at TIAA, Charles served as HR Chief of Staff and HR Transition Project Manager, where they coordinated enterprise-wide HR responsibilities and supported acquisition processes. Before their time at TIAA, Charles gained experience as an Executive Assistant/Human Resources Specialist at Bear Lake Reserve and as an Office Assistant at Little & Company. Throughout their career, Charles has demonstrated a strong ability to establish and streamline processes, provide thought leadership, manage projects, and support HR teams.

Charles Newcomb, GPHR, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Electronic Media from Western Carolina University from 2003 to 2007. In September 2019, they obtained the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
