Brian Staggers has extensive work experience in the field of technology and information systems. Brian currently serves as the Senior Director of Technology at the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau. Prior to this, Brian worked as the Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) at BMS Technology Consulting, LLC, where they provided IT consulting services and advised businesses on utilizing technology to meet their objectives. Brian also served as the Information Technology Manager at the North Little Rock School District, overseeing and managing complex IT engagements and projects. Brian's experience also includes roles such as the Information Systems Manager at the Arkansas School for the Deaf and the Director of Network Operations at Hotfoot Group & Little Rock Warehouse. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Network Engineer at Alltel Wireless. Overall, Brian has a diverse background in technology leadership, IT consulting, network management, and infrastructure operations.

Brian Staggers, MITM, has a diverse education history. Brian completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Philander Smith University. Additionally, they pursued studies in Computer Information Systems at the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College. Later, they attended Webster University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Information Technology Project Management in 2014. More recently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity at Webster University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Brian Staggers has obtained various certifications. Brian completed courses such as "Putting ITIL® Into Practice: Applying ITIL® 4 Foundation Concepts" and "Putting ITIL® into Practice: Problem Management Techniques" from LinkedIn in November 2022. In October 2022, they completed the "Chief Technology Officer Career Guide" and "Creating Your IT Strategy" courses also offered by LinkedIn. Furthermore, they completed courses such as "Cybersecurity Foundations," "Cybersecurity for Executives," and "Understanding Zero Trust" through LinkedIn in June 2022.
