Thomas Velazquez

Thomas Velazquez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education. Their most recent position was as a Principal at Littleton Public Schools, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Principal at STRIVE Prep from 2022 to 2023. Before that, they worked at Denver Public Schools from 2017 to 2022, where they held multiple roles including Principal Resident and Assistant Principal. Thomas started their career at Aurora Public Schools in 2015, where they worked as an Administrative TOSA until 2017.

Thomas Velazquez completed their Doctor of Education degree in Leadership for Educational Equity for Latinx learners at the University of Colorado Denver in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management from Colorado State University Pueblo in 2011. Thomas also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Education from Colorado State University Pueblo, which they obtained in 2002.
