Zheren Hu (Ben)

Co-founder & CTO at Liulishuo

Ben Hu's work experience began in 2005 as a Commercial Consultant Intern at General Electric. In 2006, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Lab at the University of Arizona. Following this, they served as a Visiting Student Intern at Microsoft Research Asia, where they developed a new mobile input device. Ben went on to work as a Technology MBA Intern at Bank of America in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Software Engineer at World Evolved Services, LLC. In 2010, they joined Quantcast as a Software Engineer. In 2011, Ben co-founded the company miihuu. In 2012, they co-founded Liulishuo and became its Co-Founder & CTO. Zheren (Ben) then held the roles of Co-Founder, CTO & Head of Adult English at Liulishuo from 2018 to 2019.

Zheren (Ben) Hu holds a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering ACM Class from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Zheren (Ben) also participated as an exchange student at The University of Hong Kong, studying Computer Science and Information Systems. Currently, Zheren (Ben) Hu is enrolled in a PhD Program in Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona.
