Tad Simons

Tad Simons is an experienced advisor and board member at Liv Labs since July 2017 and has been the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Pyxera Inc. since 2011, specializing in strategy and product design in healthcare and life sciences. Simons served as an advisor at HealthRhythms from June 2020 to May 2022, focusing on the market introduction of innovative behavioral health solutions. Prior to that, Simons was the Lead of the Health Practice and Associate Partner at IDEO from September 1999 to April 2011, where the establishment of a healthcare and life sciences domain practice occurred. Additionally, Simons worked at Hewlett-Packard from 1982 to 1999 as a Principal Scientist in HP Labs, contributing to research and strategy for medical products. Simons holds a PhD and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech.
