Gary Delhougne

Gary Delhougne has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Gary is currently working as the Senior Director of Market Access at LivaNova. Prior to this, they held roles such as the Global HE&R Strategist at W. L. Gore & Associates and the General Manager at SmartTRAK / BioMedGPS, LLC.

Before that, Gary worked at Smith & Nephew as the Senior Director of Market Access, where they led the development of value propositions for wound and orthopedic brands and utilized real world evidence for commercial execution and scientific communications. Gary also served as the Director of Reimbursement at Avalere Health, providing strategic payment policy guidance to medical device, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics companies.

Gary's earlier experience includes their role as the Senior Director of Health Economics & Reimbursement at Covidien (now part of Medtronic), where they led a team and managed a multi-million dollar budget. Gary also worked as a Senior Adviser at Ernst & Young's Health Sciences Advisory Services, providing consulting support to US hospitals on Medicare payment policies.

Gary's career in the healthcare industry began with an internship at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where they helped develop the precursor to Medicare Part D.

Gary Delhougne holds a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Health Law and Employment Law from Saint Louis University School of Law. Gary also obtained a Master of Health Administration degree from Saint Louis University, specializing in Health Administration. Additionally, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Gary has a certificate in Medical Marketing Program from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and they have also received training in Leadership Coaching from the Professional Christian Coaching Institute.
