Aleksander Pekour

Java Team Lead at Livatek

Aleksander Pekour has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Aleksander started their career as a Team Leader/Senior Developer at PopNet, KSE, where they were responsible for system analysis, project documentation, team management, project development, and client communication. Aleksander then moved on to HKKW Bankwehr GmbH as a Manager, where they managed the production division and was involved in setting up the office, project management, and staff management.

In 2005, Pekour joined InterTechnoGroup as a Manager, where they set up the development office in Kiev, established office infrastructure and managerial routines, and formed teams. Aleksander also implemented a software lifecycle management system.

Pekour then joined Netcracker as a Technical Manager, where they managed OSS software adoption projects and was in charge of data migration for the Netcracker/UMC project.

Next, they worked at Incom as a Project Manager and later as a Development Team Lead, where they effectively led the development team and managed various projects.

Pekour then joined Luxoft as a Team Lead, where they supported and developed iopscience.iop.org as the lead of a team of 7 engineers. Aleksander then returned to Livatek as a Team Lead/Architect, before joining Luxoft again as a Team Lead. During this time, they successfully implemented and supported Java projects for Astelit, one of the largest telecom operators in Ukraine. Aleksander also participated in the architecture and development of a new generation CRM system.

Most recently, Pekour has been working at Livatek as a Java Team Lead, where they are responsible for developing and supporting Ubiquitech/One Q print management solutions using Java, Spring DI, REST/SOAP services, Spring MVC, and more. Aleksander has also established a Jira/Confluence-based Scrum development process and introduced a release process for the core server component.

Aleksander Pekour attended the National Aerospace University, specifically the 'Kharkiv Aviation Institute', from 1992 to 1998. No specific degree or field of study was provided for this education period.
