Mark Ollila, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mark is currently serving as the CEO and Chairman of Live Current Media Inc. Prior to this, they were the CEO and co-founder of Kast, the largest watch party app for GenZs and Millennials. Mark also served as an advisor to Evasyst, Inc., working towards creating immersive gaming experiences.

Mark Ollila has held the position of Non Executive Director at Blind Squirrel Games, a premier game developer, and served as a Member of Evonexus Selection Committee at Commnexus, a technology business incubator. Mark has also provided advisory support to companies like Advrty, Pyze Inc., and Kadho Inc., specializing in native advertising, mobile app user engagement, and cognitive training platforms for children, respectively.

Additionally, Mark Ollila has worked as a Partner at UX-fit LLC, offering product strategy and design services, and as a Non Executive Director at Imagine Intelligent Materials, focusing on the development of composite materials using graphene. Mark also held the role of Chair of Advisory Board at Global StealthCo, which aimed to build a global communications and media platform for mobile phone users worldwide.

Mark Ollila, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Mark completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of Queensland from 1987 to 1990. Following that, they went on to pursue an Honours degree in Computer Science at the same institution in 1991. Mark furthered their education by obtaining a PhD in Computer Vision and Computer Science from Curtin University, where they studied from 1994 to 2001. Later, in 2006 and 2007, they attended the London Business School to earn an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree with a focus on Strategy, Finance, Brands, and Marketing.
