James Braun

James "Jay" Braun is an accomplished rigger and stagehand with extensive experience in the entertainment and event management industry, currently employed at Alliant Energy Center, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., and Wisconsin Center District since 2019. Additionally, James has a long history of freelance work for various companies, including Reed Rigging and PRG, contributing to diverse projects since 2012. Previous roles include a lead rigger with TLS Productions and multiple long-term positions at Riverside Theater, Live Nation Entertainment, and BMO Harris Bradley Center, where responsibilities encompassed stagecraft operations, crew training, and maintenance activities. James also has experience in residential property management as a building manager and possesses a solid academic background with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Marquette University.
